Lets also embrace a pseudo-scientific belief that "cycling" blood through people will make a Romanian super proletarian (and substitute for poor nutrition) Lets also force military personnel and sailors to donate to this blood. Lastly lets inject fucking infants with this blood as a way to augment vitamin supplements.

Yeah, its not a real surprise HIV spread like wildfire.

I get that Ceausescu was anti-Soviet vocally post 1968 and the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, but how much of this was just "not talking about the Iron Guard" and how much of it was active rehabilitation? I suspect it was more the former than later.
