basically they worse a cone filled with fragrant spices on their face so they wouldn't have to breathe the "bad air" which they believed to be the cause of the plague.

So i knew that they have put some herbals into their constume noses. They were made out of leather.

This was some kind of medieval quarantine suite, which is actually an amazing invention.

The last thing i heard was, that these doctors were really valueable. Thugs used to kidnap them.

Is there anyone who has some actual sources besides Wikipedia to watch/read something from them?
