Why did Austria-Hungary perform so poorly against Serbia?

cause the Austro-Hungarian Army was a hodgepodge of poorly-trained peasants, most of whom couldn't understand their commanding officers but could get the gist of their 'enemy's' language
also home-field advantage, and the fact A-H troops weren't really motivated to fight (Franz Ferdinand was not popular and who really gave a fuck about politics/expansion/Bosnia?)
Too many languages and ethnicities, no unit cohesion, no unity of purpose.
Also their commander was a bumbling retard.

We couldve seen a United Danubian States
Awful leadership, ineffective multicultural army, their arrogance and underestimation of enemy strength, and the fact Serbian Army had excellent leadership and experience from Balkan Wars.

Ironically Croats and Serbs were motivated to fight and very few surrendered which is noted (disappointingly) by Serbs.
Meanwhile Czechs pretty much didn't give a fuck and half of Serbian army doctors in WW1 were Czech.
