How can one man be so absolutely correct about everything?
>>3272258
I agree, the Cambodian Genocide never occured.
>>3272292
He's so right about everything that people that dislike him have to make shit up instead of discussing what he says.
>>3272292
Wrong Jew
>>3272315
You're right. He doesn't deny it. He just says America is to blame. I guess America made Pol Pot round up and execute everyone with glasses. It's a shame we never learn about that part of history.
>>3272328
>I'll keep making shit up until something sticks
>>3272328
You realize that America armed Pol Pot's movement for longer than they opposed it, right?

By being absolutely incorrect about everything else.
>>3272258
Ah yes, another quality thread brought to us by & humanities.

How nice of the video to tell me what to think of what chomsky is saying. No wonder you believe the shit you spout, you are fed what to think like a retard.
There is no genocide denial, nor any exclusive blame to america in that video, which were your two claims. It's a very basic explanation of how two similar events are reported differently by the media, and how little is requested in terms of evidence when the claim is useful (regardless of it being true or not).
>>3272379
Except the video doesn't spout opinions. It spouts facts. Chomsky intentionally spouts misleading details and lies and the video corrects him and even cites its sources.
>being this brainwashed by a Pol Pot loving charlatan
>>3272387
The video repeatedly states that the genocides are not comparable, while also repeatedly stating that they both genocided the same proportion of the population (using the highest estimate for the cambodian genocide). I don't really give a fuck about what the author considers "comparable in scale" or not, which IS an opinion, but he pretty much refutes itself. Chomsky's point is pretty fucking obvious but somehow flies over both your and the video author's head, he's discussing how the media works and not the cambodian genocide in itself.
ayy anarcho syndicalism lmao

Because he looks at things objectively with no fancy philosophical ideology or jargon and applies the same critical standards to all sides no matter what
>>3272537
>Because he looks at things objectively
>Says Bakunin was right about dictatorships of the proletariat (despite Anarchist in Catalonia forming them)
>ignores the fact that Bakunin advocated for a secret dictatorship
>Groups "libertarian" Marxism and Anarchism under the same rubric unironically because he thinks they're both extensions of humanism.
>>3272409
>comparable in scale is an opinion
A mountain doesn't compare to a planet
>Just an opinion
A nuclear bomb doesn't compare to a supernova
>Just an opinion
A Saint Bernard doesn't compare to an elephant
>Just an opinion
>>3272328
The Kmher Rouge would never have gotten to the point where they could do that if it weren't for CIA funding
>>3272548
>bakunin is wrong because someone did something he said was wrong
>proofs?
>implying they don't have the same origin
>>3272258
controlled opposition dude..
he believes the official story of 911

he's great! if you need help going to sleep, try listening to some real philosophers, who help you to think differently, rather than telling you what to think
>>3272328
The US supported Pol Pot, primarily because he opposed Viet Cong.
>criticizes the foundations of capitalism and private property
>owns several big houses
>>3272746
>Communists/socialists don't money where there mouth is
Not surprising at all desu
