...The concept "My people are superior - the rest are subhumans" is well known. It is used by Chinese, Mongols, Germans, Brit's, French's, etc. Almost any nation in the world use it. But no one have so deep and unreasoned hate to "others". Hellenes /here and below "hellenes" refers to Danaes/ builds their society on the basis of "Hellenes and Barbarians". (Btw, Aristotle never uses the word "Greeks", it is a modern terminology, you know that, right? Ever wonder why this change happens? Who did it and who benefits from that change?). Aristotle also states that slaves are "animated property", "tools for actions", and that slave differs from animal only by his ability to speak - given to him to understand his master and to serve him better. A really great example of Hellenic state-of-mind, but strange - it is not included into students books...
So "Hellenes vs Barbarians" is the founding stone at Hellenic civilisation and accept the fact that Hellenic poleis are build on conception of parasitism..
