I would say something like "If they think history is boring, dump them" but I would never even begin dating someone if they didn't have an interest in history, so that'd be a moot point.
As long as they have an interest in history as passionate as mine, there really wouldn't be anything /his related to break up with them for. It'd be incredibly autistic to dump one of the incredibly rare and mythical "women who are passionate about history" just because she disagrees with you on it. I might think communists are literally evil, but if she's into USSR history and larping as a commissar, I'd do it with her. (unless she actually is a communist in real life, but htat would be a political reason)
Just because your spouse has different /his/torical opinions than you is not a good reason to break up with them, because unless you are a woman, you will probably never meet someone else with as deep an appreciation for history.
