I think I see what you mean. A lot of people I've seen ask questions to him seem to bring up a variation of that question. Like, atheists or agnostics argue that theists can only understand their reality by only presupposing like you said, that their religion is in it. But I think the focus on Jesus and the evidence that suggests he was correct on all accounts is enough to suffice their doubt.
