At what times in history has the concept of baldness changed?

I was wondering th same thing. Not balding but I was looking at pictures of people in the past with broad foreheads and high hairlines yet they were adored and had women all over them.

Just shave it off for chrissake.

In civilized times balding manlets such as yourself would've been swiftly drawn and quartered
