Can we discuss Oriental Archaeological Theories?

I can't believe Europeans and Americans are sole pioneers in this matter when we have old civilizations like China.

Do they really copy paste all Binford, Hodder and friends? Do they have different methods and theories? Do they produce methods and theory or they are mostly culture historical archaeologists?
