I feel the same way, senpai. The way Shinto relates to Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism is interesting. I see vague conceptual parallels between the development of the Church of England and organs of the Japanese state that propagated Shinto and updated forms of religion as Japanese identity solidified early in the Imperial period.
