because it sucks

Because Bonaboos are insufferable. Every single one is literally pic related.
never heard of it

It's really quite good. I've yet to hear an opinion disliking it from anyone who's actually read it. Essentially the books presents all facets of Napoleon's life, the good and bad, and talks a lot about the repercussions of his actions. It's relatively impartial, despite the fact that the title makes Anglos piss themselves in rage.

Is an example of this.

I finished it only a week or so ago and I really enjoyed it. There are a lot of things that are meticulously found from the plethora of sources that you otherwise might not know about. Though my favorite part was reading through the battles and many of his quotes. I highly recommend reading it.

It doesn't or are you trying to make up the /his/ stance on it? It's great.
