Kind of, but still paints the wrong picture of Greek military practices in general. The idea the Greeks had no military structure whatsoever is very disingenuous. Not even the Greeks can mobilize out of thin air.

I don't see how you come to that conclusion. For most of their history the Greek City States' military consisted of citizen militia called for service. They were literally a force of untrained militiamen.
