How much freedom of movement was there from one to the other in former countries/federal districts east of russia during the soviet union?

It very much depended on your class. If you were a member of the Gommunist Party then you could apply for a visa to visit other parts of the USSR, if you were a member of the inner circle then you could even visit other countries, but for the average Joe Schmoe it was essentially impossible to leave your home prefecture.

Were areas like chelyabinsk goven the same political weight and jurisdiction as the czech republic or romania?

Each Republic managed it's own travel permits, Czechia in particular was very "liberal" and had much lighter restrictions than Russia itself.

None. Even today in Russia people literally need an internal passport to travel from A to B, within the same country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_passport_of_Russia

Which is good btw. You don't have to move to get a job under socialism. It's only under the late stage capitalism that we have today that movement is considered a good thing.

Bullshit dude did you even read the page you linked? It has zero cited sources also. And this nugget was at the end, though I can't speak to its veracity because..zero cited sources: "In November 2010 the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the cancellation of internal passports, replacing them with plastic identity cards or driver's licenses."

For someone posting in a /his/tory channel, you sure suck at the most basic of fact-checking and research tasks.

Nobody knows.

Is this bait?
Are people forced to travel and see the world under capitalism?
Or are commies literally this retarded?
