>out to lunch with coworkers
>talking to some total beta next to me lmao
>qt coworker overhears our conversation (was telling him about Bactria)
>"wow anon you know a lot about history"
hows it feel knowing you'll never be this alpha /his/? there should be a special board for alpha /his/torians like me.
the rest of you losers are stuck on beta history like world war ii and the HRE, meanwhile alpha /his/torians like me are discussing alpha history, like Indo-Greek Kingdoms and Rey Carlos II
anyways, i'm off to read some more about Bactria (i don't need to i just like to) enjoy your BH (that's beta history for you nerds lmfao)

I wish I was OP
No joke lads, nice wife-tier girls older than 20 who aren't easy to fugg are impressed by things like that. History, any kind of research, any kind of writing (even if it's fucking Harry Potter furry futa), and ESPECIALLY building/fixing things as a hobby will turn them on more than some loser who plays video games in his free time.
Younger girls and roasties tend to be less impressed, but it's happened before.

Not really. Just saying "history" or "history stuff" gets ears perking.
