Wasn't raised by religious people. That's literally it. I don't have anything against religion though, and I'm open minded. If I saw Jesus Christ descend from the heavens I wouldn't be the one rushing to make a scientific explanation of it.

TLDR: It helps me sleep at night, I didn't have a father so it fills that void, and I don't think I lose anything by attributing chance and coincidence to an all powerful entity looking out for me; I do take personal responsibility for my actions, I keep my shit together, I don't hurt people or animals for fun or profit, I don't expect an afterlife, don't expect to have any questions answered in my life time, but I hope there is an afterlife and I can get my answers there.

but this is my truth. I found the God in all things before learning the name of this belief, and I was overjoyed to see that not only was it a thing, but people like Albert Einstein had been believers in it. it has unequivocally improved my life by countless measures

I don't know what I believe, and I will never have facts until I am dead.

So I'm just an Apatheist. God could exist, yeah, that makes sense. He could not exist, that makes sense too. I'll see what happens I guess, in the meantime I'll just live.
And if God is a thing and he gave me life I'd feel like a dick for not worshiping Him, but like, there's to many versions of Him in this world to know which is Him, and there's too little evidence to guide me in any directions but sitting on my ass waiting. So hopefully He'll understand. It'd suck if He didn't but what am I gonna do.

No, not really. I don't know if there is one or not, but I don't really get off on organized religion as a whole. But I'll keep an open mind on my deathbed.

My parents weren't religious so I didn't realize there are people who take religion seriously until my teens.
