even if Leonardo da Vanci was half-Arab, that wouldn't make him an Arab. It'd make him half-Italian, half-Arab. Since a half-Arab, half-Italian wouldn't look different from your average Italian I don't see why he wouldn't be considered an Italian. Leonardo left writings, right? So did contemporaries? Don't you think someone would have mentioned exotic parentage? If they didn't, i'd imagine he didn't have exotic parentage or it didn't matter to anyone or himself enough to write about it.
