Also privilege is not limited to race, anon. There are many fuck poor white people, just as there are poor black/asian/latino people and rich black/asian/latino people. Whilst people are often discriminated against on the basis of race, class-based discrimination is also a huge thing.

The race-based divide and rule propaganda of the capitalist superstructure has to stop. We all suffer, we must work together to end this suffering.

Interestingly a large component of Schopenhauer's thought was how life equated to suffering of the person or other people as a result of the choices of that person to (for example) eat animals or support certain ethico-moral positions. Pretty buddhist to me.

Probably Urs App has dissected this; he is an expert in Buddhist thought and its reception in the 19th century (Schopenhauer most notably). Maybe check his Birth of Orientalism and many articles online?

Buddhism was always about wresting with the idea of how to find meaning in life and what it means to be alive. Buddhist, unlike nihilist, dont stem all of their ideas from the thought that all life is meaningless therefore existence is sucks or whatever
