America isn't one of the undisputed good guys, but certainly, if Germany and England were -100, and true good guy was 100, America would be a solid 60 or 70. They've made a few mistakes but overall have seriously contributed to the modern world in a way very few nations can say they have, even for a relatively new nation and country. Nam was a bit bad but it wasnt the armenian genocide or anything. Really the Spanish-American war was their only truly unjustified war, ever. Ww1 was bad, but they redeemed themselves in ww2, no doubt. Quasi-war and 1812 were fully justified, honestly. They beat the soviets in the cold war. Anything after that doesn't fit in the 25 year rule, and even so they haven't done that much bad to undue their advancement and greatness so far.
