Basically, technological singularity. A point in mathematical projection which no human can compute and everything can happen. The strong IA can be friendly or hostile, there's no certainty.

because once we create something smarter than us it can in turn create something smarter than itself. and from there its not hard to imagine a group of super intelligent ai several generations later deciding humans are stupid, ignorant, obstructionist, hateful and just generally annoying.
