Twelve step programs. The whole movement was basically started as a wing of the Oxford Group, which was an evangelical organization. It's the most common form of drug treatment (common enough to be court-ordered in many areas), and is operates on the notion that it's necessary for addicts to give up their will to God. That leads to lots of addicts becoming evangelicals.
