Do the US really have a official civil flag?
Technically, yes. But I've never seen it in real life. Nobody uses the civil flag. It's kind of like how America's official system of measurement is technically the metric system.

So does it really look like this? I only found some unreliable sources with quotes about the stripes going vertically, but you can just rotate the normal flag to get this you know

Not 100% sure. I've only seen it online. Like I said, nobody uses the flag in real life. On my street, there are American flags flying from almost every house, but none of them are the civil flag. They're all the normal flag.

>like how America's official system of measurement
That's not true though, it's still imperial officially.

Congress passed a law in 1975 saying that the metric system was now the official system of weights and measures for the US.

>Congress
>Federals
>Dictating that we must now use some silly French system
Typical.

>some silly french system
>This is actually believed by humans walking the earth
Today continues to depress and disappoint.
I think I saw it flying over an island in Nashville (?) but it was far away and i couldn't geta hold of the organization flying itto ask questions. At the very least, something similar
I looked this up one time and the cited sources for these claims and it turns out to be uncredible bullshit.
