One day, we will look upon political correctness and its impact on climate science, economics, psychology, sociology, etc., as more subtle but equally cancerous version of Lysenkoism in the Soviet Union. The only difference is that not even the "superstar scientists", like could criticize the status quo and escape with their reputation intact. At least Stalin's didn't dare touch his nuclear physicists, but today's "postmodernism", for a lack of a better word, has inspired people to lose all sense of the sacred, overcoming the boundaries that prevent us from destroying our heroes or committing moral transgressions.
