Is there any evidence that Egyptians and Nubians were distinctly seperate people considering there was no natural boundary between them and they often depicted each other as the same skin tone.

No it is artificial. Created by academia to "whiten" people's perception and understanding of ancient Egypt.

Anon, Egypt stood between the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. They were probably a mixture of all 3 of different varying intensities depending on which dynasty or time period you choose.

It didn't stand between Africa, it was in Africa.

Yes, anon, obviously. But you understand what I mean by this.

Very rarely, Nubia/Punt and Egypt were rivals and were usually depicted as having dark skin.
Each ethnic group from the Libyans to the Phonecians, native Egyptians tended to be painted in their own color.

Look at the OPs pick. Half the "Nubians" are the same color as the Egyptian. Some Egyptians were depicted as dark as "Nubians" and vice versa.

They were rivals in the same way Etruscans and italiotes were.
