He wasn't born in Bethlehem either. He was a hippie who learned Eastern mysticism in Egypt during his theological studies as a young man. It was Paul, seeing an opportunity, or perhaps just a fanatic, who perverted the Jewish-Buddhist teaching of Christ into an organised religion. Then the Romans inverted the teaching so much that the eventual Catholic church held the perverted "traditions" of the church above all else, and actually became the pharisees Christ was originally challenging.

The "decline" of Christianity, those blockhead Catholic reactionaries prate on about is actually the COMPLETION of Christianity, and the west is moving closer and closer to a pure form of Christianity. The christian obsession with truth has ironically backfired because now the church can't murder people for asking these basic questions. The reason you are denying Christianity is because, ironically, you are driven by a desire for Christian "truth".
