Nobody worships the pyramids. Destroying such an old and cultured monument would only further stigmatize islam as a whole and prevent god knows how many people from converting. For the health of the ummah as an entity, the pyramids are better left alone
The prophet didn't come to you the first day and forbid you from doing all the forbidden things that were part of your life, he gradually did so as you grew in faith. Being gentle and understanding with the disbelievers is more effective than fighting them on every issue
