Is "european russia" a part of europe? Im asking this because wikipedia seems to think so, which comes as a surprise.
I was thaught in history class that europe ends with Finland-Estonia-Poland. I don't know if even Belarus and Ukraine would be in europe, I didn't think so. Recently I am told that Estonia is also not in europe at all.
And which countries constitute west/east/north/south europe? I saw a map where UK for example, was a part of north europe.

I mean most of Russia's population does live in Europe, and the Kievian Rus started in europe so yes.

Where the fuck do you live?

Personally I see Europe as ending at the Ural Mountains and Caucasus mountains so Russia west of the Urals is European. Also Armenia gets pass as European since they kind of stride the Caucasus and they're Christian which makes them more culturally similar to other Europeans than their west Asian neighbors.

1. Pick a nearest atlas.
2. See that dotted line: Ural mountains - under Caucascus - Bosphorus straight? Done.
>europe ends with Finland

Pic related. A is the most commonly accepted one. There are some disputes over the Caucasus though, it should be right at the middle, but then Elbrus would be the highest peak in Europe instead of Mont Blanc and the French would be too butthurt. So the border goes under the mountains lol.

>Estonia not in Europe
