Was Brad Pitt inspired by an actual person?
Help a burger education everyone
Yes
Its the battle between ancient Turks and Greeks

yeah but the actual siege involved jedi knights otherwise they would have never been able to use jedi mind tricks to get the trojan horse inside even though it was a super obvious ploy. Furthermore greek fire cant melt trojan walls so obviously they used the force its just like when they colonized egypt and built the pyramids

Yes, but the character was named DeChillys, and he was a proud black warrior

the story we know today (and therefore also the one in the movie) is literature not history but it may very well have been inspired by an actual war. Archeologists say that they've found the ruins of troy in Asia Minor (modern day Turkey). Achilles may have been the name of someone involved in the war but even if there was a real achilles, his character is definitely an embellished version.

>Turks and Greeks
Luwians and Greeks.
>>3035062
Turk = Truva = Turiya (Hititte) = Troia (Greek) = Trojans
Turks are descendant of Trojans, rightfully reclaiming their homeland

Mehmet, my son.

Turks unironically have a more legit claim on Troy than they do on being central Asian Mongoloids.

This is why I can't take historical movies seriously.
