What where the main differences between Marx's way of thinking an Lenin's? Which Way was superior?
>>
>>3026864
Marx for theory, Lenin for praxis
>>
>>3026873
Why
>>
>>3026864
Marx's theory was more idealistic and philosophical. Humanity would one day transcend property and government, and all history is leading up to that point. A load of bollacks, but it reflected the times.

Lenin's was more political. You need to understand the French Revolution and Robespierre to understand him. The perfect world can only come about if it's filled with perfect people. Imperfection is a death sentence.
>>
>>3027522
How about you quit talking out of your ass
>>
>>3027526
Have you read The Communist Manifesto, and any of Robespierre's or Lenin's speeches?

Step up nigga
>>
>>3027531
Ive read those And The State and Revolution, Das Kapital, and A Revolution Betrayed. Step up nyukka
>>
>>3026864
Lenin viewed his thought as a continuation of Marx's based on the material conditions of his time. It makes no sense to ask which was superior since Marxism is suppose to be a framework for analysis not an exercise in exegesis.
>>
>>3027543
So you disagree? Why?
>>
>>3026864
>Marxism
The proliteriat are infallible and will eventually cause a revolution after this bourgeoise democracy annoys them enough
>Leninism
We must force this revolution, and we will use the peasants not the proletariat as our revolutionary method, also capitalism is good in small amounts
>>
>>3027604
>we will use the peasants not the proletariat as our revolutionary method
That's Mao not Lenin
>capitalism is good in small amounts
Lenin viewed the NEP as a temporary retreat not an endorsement of capitalism
>>
>>3027543
>read Das Kapital
What a waste of time.
>>
>>3026864
They're not really comparable since Lenin was a follower of Marx writings he was trying to find a way to enact Marx theories in reality, the main issue was Russia didn't really meet the per-requesites for a successful communist revolution according to Marx which is the key factor in its failure.
>>3027522
Marx was hardly idealistic he saw the dissolution of capitalism and the rise of socialism as an inevitability not some future paradise to come.
>>
Marx's philosophy didn't include the agricultural sector his philosophy was purely industrial

the Sickle in the hammer and sickle shows that soviets embraced the farmer as well as industrial worker
>>
>>3027604
>and we will use the peasants not the proletariat as our revolutionary method,
actually he was very explicit about doing the reverse
>>
>>3026864
Vanguard party.

>>3027618
What's the problem with Das Kapital?
>>
>>3026864
Ultimately it doesn't matter, both failed miserably.
>>
>>3027543
When someone has claimed to have read Capital but calls it Das Kapital, it means they've not touched so much as a single volume.
>>
>>3031553
Yes but understanding where it failed and where it succeeded matters.
>>
>>3027633
>prerequisites according to Marx
Marx str8 up said "yeah russia might just lead the world revolution" on the grounds that their agricultural communities at the time had ideas of collective ownership of agricultural land and implements that had yet to be dismantled by the english. Lenin gets around this on the supposition that this state of affairs had long passed, and that the agricultural sector was in the process of being proletarianised along typically european lines.
