Kruschev and Gorbachev were the only ones that realized the hard line communist economy was not viable. They both attempted to reform the economy. Brezhnev undoes all of Kruschev's reforms. Lucks out when OPEC chimps out and causes oil prices to go up. Gorbachev gets overthrown. The overthrowers get overthrown by the CIA. who then install Yeltsin.

Stalin wasn't just the greatest Soviet leader, he was by far the greatest human who ever walked the earth. No other person has saved as many innocent lives, or improved the lives of so many, so dramatically, and in such a short period of time.
