I worked with a handful of African Americans, one guy was really on the whole Afrocentric view of the world. He started playing these movies in the breakroom, NONSTOP.
It was amazing how in the span of a few days all the other blacks were completely on board with these movies. I would dissect each scene and prove them wrong with facts, but they were not having it. In the face of overwhelming evidence they would still rather these ridiculous movies.
The one that really got me was that the first inhabitants of Ireland were the Twa people of Central Africa. The Twa are a pygmie people who allegedly made a journey hundreds of miles through some of the densest jungle in the world, fashioned enough boats to transfer thousands of people thousands of miles up the coast to eventually settle in Ireland. Having Irish blood, that lie made me rage. But they believed it, with no evidence, just hear say!
