There needs to be something like this done by someone who is part of the culture and has participated- while I agree with much of what's said in this book, there are many nuances and causes that are more assumed from the standpoint of a psychiatrist rather than an anthropologist. There isn't a base respect because she disagrees with the politics of the alt-right, which leads her to base much of her analysis on sexual politics (somewhat correct in many cases but assumed as the root here) and self-hatred (closer to the core, but not as well-defined).
