How do religions start?
If religion X is the one true faith, how come it took so long for it to develop?

Well, Christianity doesn't really have this problem, but I'm not sure about other religions.

Impling our human brains can gasp the reasons behind God's actions

What the fuck are you talking about? Some of the earliest christian doctrinal disputes were over whether they were still jewish, christianity had to fucking start somehwere, and it happened as a result of another faith existing in the area.

If you don't know that Jesus was only born just about 2000 years ago you're seriously lacking in education.

Well, yes.
All religions are to a great extent about humans doing whatever the deity in question thinks is good behavior. Everything from social interactions to sexual tendencies and even diet, the “God” you worship will have it all laid out for you.
Not understanding God’s intentions makes the whole religion redundant.
So the question stands:
How do religions explain the fact, that prior to a certain point in history their religion did not exist and/or their God did not think them worthy of his attention?
All religions are to a great extent about humans doing whatever the deity in question ythinks

Actually if it seems retarded and evil, we are to stop following it before it completes the cycle of being fully retarded and evil and labeled as incomprehensible.
