It started during the most recent debocle in Ukraine, hohols and vatniks were arguing all the time. Any implications made of Russian involvement were met with gratuitous request for evidence ( no evidence provided was ever good enough). One poster said something or other about how insulting it was to call a Russian a chicken and how you should never do so. Of course this led to the meme of a chicken asking for evidence (proofs?).

I have his books on the revolutionary history of Russia and the Crimean war.
I'm only halfway through the revolutionary one but it is really good, haven't touched the Crimean one yet.

It's a (p)roo(f)ster, not a chicken. In russia calling someone rooster means he got sodomized in jail.

In the historical sense.
