basically unless youre an actual scot (which number very few since the Clearances), youre not really British, per se. Probably why Brits adopt an attitude of civic nationalism, rather than ethnic nationalism.

The people living in modern Afghanistan aren't the original inhabitants. Those people were genocided years ago. Remember Afghanistan used to be a center of Buddhism.
