Why are people studying humanities can't find jobs and aren't respected by the society?
because if you begin to understand words and human activity you cannot go on living as mindless as everyone else

But that doesn't explain why they can't find jobs
who says they aren't other than epic facebook memes?

people call "useful" those skills that bring money, not understanding
asking "why sell shit" instead of "how to sell shit" makes you much less useful to your employer

A combination of the humanities market being over saturated and a lot of graduates with humanities degrees not having any real skills or innovation in their areas. A man can graduate with a writing degree, but that does not make him a good writer.
If humanities = history then they can easily find jobs.
