Because modals are systems which act as tools we can use to actualize a certain reality, and religons are modals we use to actualize a spiritual one.

Some times people get a glimpse of a greater reality in a way or another, so naturally they pursue it because they wanna go to heaven.

Because their religion was destroyed when Christianity took over Northern Europe so they don't want to be Christians since the Catholics were dicks to them and they don't have a religion to fall back on since most of their pagan faiths sites and documents were destroyed. The only documents left of white religion were in Iceland called the Edda and the Poetic Edda. So Icelanders can be happy with that I suppose, but for the rest of whites, their religion was completely destroyed so they'd have to adopt the Icelandic version of Asatru (Norse Paganism). Let's be honest though, paganism is shit anyway, but that still leaves a whole race feeling a bit lost and searching.

Information is much more widely available now and communities are less close knit, Christianity is spiritually dead for a lot of people.

The modern world and globalisation has destroyed identity and Westerners have been left uprooted without any sense of purpose or higher meaning in life. More and more people are realising that consumerism is a false remedy.

The only way to fix this is to get back to our roots, rediscover the true gods of our ancestors and form new organic, tribal cultures to fulfill our quest for belonging.

Because they have a compulsion towards rituals but are too high and mighty in their own opinion to follow any pre-existing ''primitive'' creed.

It's why shit like veganims and yoga is so popular among westerners, women in particular; it's all ritual and no conviction.

Because everyone thinks they're special and have a better understanding of the universe than anyone else and don't want to learn from anyone else.

The major faiths lose their resonance because they require some pretty long leaps of logic. Meanwhile, believing in magical crystals, spells and sacred gongs and whatever is a bit easier to swallow, it's more physical. It's basically modern reinventions of shamanism, our (humans) earliest religious beliefs.
