Was it manlet rage?

I don't see Napoleon.
I love history
>>2927700
Yes.10/10
>>2927700
Yup
wtf is with these manlets in history conquering stuff periodically? Were they compensating or something?
>>2927700
Was about to call you a fucking moron, but then I actually look up his height.
>5'7" supposedly
Maybe you're right.
>>2929487
Pretty sure that was average back then, though. Look at how tiny the armor pieces are.

>"I have seen the Rus as they came on their merchant journeys and encamped by the Volga. I have never seen more perfect physical specimens, tall as date palms, blonde and ruddy..."
>[In that battle such men are said to have been killed among the Northmen as had never been seen before among the Frankish people, namely in their beauty and the size of their bodies].
they weren't all that tall by modern standards, like 5'7'', but people were very short on average back then
i do vaguely recall a roman account of scandinavians that said something along the lines of them being taller and wilder than the germans but i can't find it

hang on, found it, it was said by jordanes
>Jordanes names a multitude of tribes living in Scandza, which he named a womb of nations (loosely translated), and says they were taller and more ferocious than the Germans
