Can we all agree on that?
I mean, Colonialism in the pre-industrial age was kind of harmless. Industrialized Colonial Empire was the killing blow for makind's chances at survival.
Industrialism is bad for every society. We ruined ourselves, and therefor the world, with our industrial output. Giving it to the rest of the world was a huge mistake. We are all suffering because of it.
Every modern problem can be traced to it. The Earth burns. I'm not even a hippy and it's impossible to ignore.
What have we done?

People will always farm.
They estimate that huter gatherer society was fed upwards of 70% on average by gathered food, not hunted.
If you were a gatherer, you would find good geographic sources of food and circulate between them while the hunters supplemented your losses. This is factual. Dietary studies and remains all suggest this. The hunters were never as successful as the gatherers.
People will farm. They have always done so.
Industrialism was the true killer of society.
