Why dont (((they))) ever make Sassanid Roman war type movies? The Persians and Romans considered eachother as main rivals fpr 600 plus years, and had major battles that can be considered as world wars of their days, where not only 2 huge empires were involved by other nation states and allies as well.
Millions perished in these wars, cities razed to the ground, whole civilizations wiped out, yet no movies or even mere mentions of this in western history. Wtf?

Because Western productions will never portray Persian civilization in a good light. Greeks and Romans are seen as the good guys compared to the evil decadent Persians. Not to mention US relations with Iran are soured because of the embassy hostage crisis.
