What does a worker deserve? The fulfilment of their needs, or fair pay for the amount of work that they do?
>>2894675
What's the dichotomy?
>>2894675
Socialism is the preparation to currency-less communism. All else is revisionism.
>>2894684
Socialism: Social ownership and democratic control of the means of production
Communism: From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs.
Socialism

The workers create the wealth we enjoy. But the people who benefits are lazy rich boys. Fuck them
>>2894803
Yeah so much we already know.
>>2894780
I'm aware of the definitions, what is the dichotomy in OP's post?
>>2894840

Socialists argue that workers should own the means of production, and own everything that they produce with them; enabling them to sell and trade the product of their labor or their services for money, tokens, or other products and services.
Communists argue that fair wages cannot be measured because there are so many factors contributing to them: The people who made the tools, built the factory, work together with you, who researched the necessary technology, etc. They argue that everyone should contribute as much work as they can, and as it is necessary to fulfill the needs of the worker and everyone else.
The worker then has no claim on the service or product they provide, or on a wage of any kind. They cannot sell their product or exchange it for other goods. What they have a claim to is the fulfilment of their needs instead.
That is the dichotomy.

Whats wrong with revisionism. It might have been the original purpose, but what's stopping you from simply adopting Socialism, without wanting to create a communist society?
>>2895077
This. Also nice holy dubs
>>2894675
A worker is entitled to, and only entitled to, whatever the employer is contractually obligated to pay in accordance to the voluntary agreement that is employment.
>the worker cannot be stolen from as his the worth of his labor is decided by a free market
Refute this
>>2896666
Yes especially if that contract is the livelihood of the worker. Get fucked you cunt

>>2894675
The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Socialism is the stage in human development after capitalism and before communism according to most socialist ideologies however there are numerous other ones that believe in socialism as an end in and of itself.

All of it
