Have a book rec for you: "Male Fantasies" by Klaus Theweleit. Takes a deep look at members of the Freikorps and early Nazi party through the angle of their sexual relationships and general relationships with /worldview towards women. It's translated German academic writing so the text can be a little clunky, but it's an eye opener. TL;DR version: R9K-tier failure with women, frustration at the inability to connect with them, not really even acknowledging them as people, odd points like fascist autobiographies almost never even mentioning anything about their wives beyond "I moved here with my wife," this weird kind of homoerotic obsession with men and masculinity, that fascist movements sought out and made themselves appealing to disaffected men, etc.
