With the intellectual decline of universities in mind, do you think classical science will regroup somewhere else? Might science move to a corporate setting as a primary, maybe with it's own education programs etc? What will happen to the humanities?
In for potentially interesting thread. Personally I'm stumped but I can agree Uni students a thick as shit lol, it's actually worrisome.
Humanities will be moved to secret clubs of neckbeards who do nothing but to hate the jews.
Our future is a bright one

How can so many young students be so passionate about politics? I can never get that kind of enthusiasm.

>first world """"leftist""""" """progressives"""""""" who can afford to go to top grade schools for humanities degrees
>marxists
Pick one.

Yeah lets just kill all the stupid people in the country, which is 80% of the population. What a great idea!

How about pick both? Communist revolutions often have intellectual vanguards which are used to push for revolution, which are discarded after revolution is achieved.

Good to know, what does it have to do with the thread?

We are on /his/, Hillary Clinton is literally Stalin

Corporatism will prevail.
In time universities will not be financed by government but by corporations. The process is already underway.
This will make them as ideologically strict as they are now, but in a different direction.
Hard science and engineering will be left alone due to the possibilities of turning profit from new technology.
Some sort of art/design will remain, but only so far as it is useful to advertising.
I doubt any other sort of humanities will be needed.
Can't work out if I think this is a good thing. It's not like we actually need new essays about 'Adam Bede'

>Corporatism will prevail
That's not what "corporatism" means.

Oh wow, you're right. Have a point. That's one point in the bag. Maybe Griffindor has a chance for the house cup this term!
You knew what I meant.
As it may be degrees are getting more and more worthless and I doubt it's because knowledge lost it's value.
up
Arent History books actually one of the most economically successful parts of the book industry?
I have been told non fiction subsidizes fiction.

Corporation do not support basic research, though.
