Environment plays a pretty big factor in primitive culture. So jungle folk tend to adapt the past of least resistance, ie. nudity/skirts/noise producing jewelry. Also it's pretty easy to find similarites between 1 Polynesian tribal culture and 100+ African tribal cultures.
