I don't know. I'm focusing on making the profiles the most identifiable possible. Besides, the ones without historical despictions are usually too obscure.

There was some complaints about Gengis Khan distorting the chart too much with his current position, so I moved him a bit to the right. If anyone has a better placing for him, I'll use that.

First of all, Aisha was 19, you can find that in ibn kathir's book the sirah

second of all, all religions are "delusional and primitive" and oddly enough the OP who put jesus is X0 Y100 seems to be a christfag

Third, historically speaking the only people muhammed's army fought were the pagans who tried to persecute the early muslims and the romans who tried to get their hands on arabia during their war against the sassanid

Read a book, you dumb frogposter, we're on a fucking history board, next time provide citations for your shit.

Antibalaka legit massacred civilians, dipshit.

And LRA is still fighting.

As for the IRA, appealing to time is a logical fallacy just because it doesn't exist anymore doesn't mean it didn't happen

Does this chart work on how much net suffering a person endured, or how much they suffered relative to how much they deserved it?

Like, a completely pure, innocent person wouldn't deserve even a little suffering. So would that little bit of suffering place them high on the suffering axis, or low on the axis because they're suffering was little regardless of their innocence?

Also moved some things around. Moved Patton to 35,25 (he got passed up and thrown under the bus a lot because he didn't want to play politics, it also removed the irrelevant pile of bones). Brought both Göring and John I up so brought Pancho and reporter who I don't know back. Brought Trump to 5 suffering because he has led nothing but a charmed life and has gotten just about everything he ever wanted.

Field Marshall Herbert Kitchener

Took charge during the Boer War where the British were carrying out atrocities in the concentration camps they had set up, generally disliked by his men and notably Winston Churchill for being cruel and brutal in the Mahdist Wars

but died on the way to Russia after his boat was hit by a mine laid by a German U-Boat
>>
>>2883347
>atrocities in concentration camps
Sorry the boers kind of raided supplies heading there, it had a lower death rate than London, and it was during the middle of a guerrila war
>>
>>2883357
hence 40, I quite like Kitchener, and I do agree that what he did was in war, but you can justify many things through "it was war" so for me, the point still stands
>>
>>2883366
especially since many of the camp residents were men who had no chance to fight back because of their age, women, and children - there's no need to subject those who do not have a say or have an ability to fight in a war to the war they have found themselves in
>>
>>2883366
40 is still a lot
I'd say 20 because yes he made young men die in ww1, but it saved the British and French empire
>>2883376
Yes that's why they were put there rather than arrested. As then they are out the way and you cannot accidentally kill them when checking farm houses
>>
>>2883390
That's just WW1 though, Kitchener was in charge of the Mahdist Wars, the Boer Wars, Franco-Prussian War - he allowed the mowing down of12,000 men, injuring of 13,000 and capturing of 5,000 in one battle alone for example whilst he only lost 23 of his own men. 22,000 people died in one year alone in the Boer War and that's just counting children.
Putting him at 20 is far too minimalist, in what way is Sigmund Freud or Boethius equally as deserving?
>>
>>2883390
and if you're going to send people to concentration camps so you don't 'accidentally kill them', you should do what you can to ensure they don't die when you're supposedly saving them

“Within 10 miles we (the English) burned not less than six farm homesteads. Between 30 and 40 homesteads were burned and totally destroyed between Bloemfontein and Boshoff. Many others were also burned down. With their houses destroyed, the women and children were left in the bitter South African winter in the open.” - they were taken to the camps because there was no other choice, the British lovingly cared for the lives of the people they had just ruined through the destruction of livelihood, so generous of them

Agreed. Judas betrayed a man he was friends with and thought to be God or the messiah or both for a few coins and then was such a pussy he killed himself. He hardly suffered at all for what could be considered one of the worst offenses to commit.

Get Hermann Goring in the place of UK - leader of the Luftwaffe so responsible for the orchestration of the Blitz, and numerous other raids across Europe. Suffered by being turned by his own party and having his arrest ordered because he asked to take Hitler's place if he committed suicide. He was then imprisoned by the Allies and made to die unloved, countryless and alone by his own hand

It was, McSweeney was basically supposed to be Hitler combined with a corrupted form of Puritanical Christianity. His rule was supposed to serve as the Puritans' legacy from oppressed to oppressors coming full circle (hence why he is a descendant of Mayflower settlers) and as the final corruption of United States that began with its loss in the Civil War in the form of discarding the centuries-old Institution of Separation of Church and State and embarking on a campaign of religious-motivated mass murder.

The fight for national survival against the United States in the Second Great War and the horrifying revelations of the Mormon Holocaust were supposed what finally broke the Confederacy free of its century of racial strife and forced it to socially reform from within much as WW2 did for the United States as a whole.

Unfortunately, Turtledove's publisher thought the whole America literally becoming the Nazis and exterminating the Mormons plot was too incendiary and he was forced to go with a more politically safer Confederate Hitler gassing the blacks route.

Shame too. He could've at least Anne Frank or some other notable irl Holocaust victim into a POV character so we could get a view of the conflict between the United and Confederate States through somewhat unbiased eyes (Anne would have had little to no knowledge of the events that led to the American Civil War and thus no opinion on which side was "right"). A couple of chapters describing her shock and horror as the persecution of Mormons reaches genocidal levels would've made for excellent lampshading.

I can't think of a good replacement, but I do know for sure that Carthage's position is fucking ridiculous. Killing kids is nothing special in the ancient world, by the state, the religion, or otherwise. Rome were probably more evil just for what they themselves did to Carthage alone.
>>
>>2910384
And furthermore, even if they for sure regularly sacrificed kids, even in the open all the time and everyone was totally down, that rating compared to all other states and figures suggests it would have to be on par with shit like the Mongol conquests and the Holocaust. I don't think so.

Causing unrest in a Roman province known for being unruly isn't nothing m8
>>
>>2915417
Okay, dude. And because people keep complaining about it look at it like this - a deeply empathetic man abandons his normal life and devotes it completely to helping people and making others more virtuous and loving in the most understandable and universal fashion he can despite overwhelming circumstances against him, goes through it despite constant persecution and poverty, and ends up betrayed and abandoned, painfully killed and humiliated by the people he was trying to help, and accepts it and even asks for their forgiveness. Sure it stirred some shit up but it was done with his own initiative for genuine love of humanity on a personal level.

i realize he was technically holding back islamists is his country, but that doesn't magically make him a good guy, it just means there was a bigger monster lying in wait behind him, and arguably that took him out. but make no mistake, he was indeed a monster in his own right.

So far, a grand total of two posters responded with actual answers. The rest are just fucking arguing.

Maybe I'll post in an /nsg/ thread or something, they're usually more responsive and articulate, even if they are Neo-Nazi shitheads.

>"Emperor Hui tried to save Liu Ruyi's life. Before Liu Ruyi could get to the capital, Emperor Hui intercepted his young brother at Bashang (霸上, in modern Xi'an) and received Liu Ruyi into his palace, and they dined together and slept together. Empress Dowager Lü wanted to kill Liu Ruyi, but was afraid that any attempt might also harm her own son, and therefore could not carry out her plot for several months.

>Empress Dowager Lü got her chance in winter 195 BC. One morning, Emperor Hui was out hunting and wanted to take Liu Ruyi with him. The young prince was then only 12 years old and refused to get up from bed, and Emperor Hui left for the hunt on his own. Empress Dowager Lü heard this and immediately sent an assassin into the emperor's palace to force poisoned wine down the prince's throat. By the time that Emperor Hui returned, his brother was dead. She then had Consort Qi's eyes gouged out, made her ears deaf, drugged her to make her unable to speak and had her arms and legs cut off. The mutilated woman was thrown to a toilet and fed and kept alive in a pig's bin and was called the "人彘", meaning literally the "human swine". (She would die from the torture.) When Emperor Hui saw his father's favorite and the mother of his beloved little brother in such a condition, he cried out loud and became ill for about a year, complaining to his mother that he felt that he could not govern the empire, given that he was the son of someone like her who has done such inhuman deed. From that point on, Emperor Hui indulged himself with wine and women and no longer made key governing decisions, leaving them to his mother."
