Why are we capable to see beauty in unbeautiful?

Interesting question.

I suppose same can be asked of people who like to watch good horror movies? They find 'pleasure' in literally being scared, disgusted.

Aesthetics are everything. With a proper use of them, even the worst of human acts can be depicted as beautiful. Pretty amazing though.

that picture and any other like it folows basic patterns of aesthetic thats pretty much universal in all human, it might not be made to look nice but it has a sort of basic beauty or at lest its interesting

I think that you have a temperament which is very open or your lying... the image you posted has to many references to (Natural disgust sensitivity in humans) Maggots, Eviscerations. You can say you think it's beautiful, but it seems like your lying to yourself.

I think that it's fair to say this is a "scary image" by majority standards. It's intimidating and unsettling...

Disgusting things naturally aren't beautiful.

(I think it's fair to say that it is not beautiful, because it contains to many things which humans are disgust sensitive too. It could be called interesting, but not beautiful.)

If it could be proven that disgusting things create "objective pleasurable experiences, in the majority" I could be wrong. Majority for the sake of definition*
