Jew here, while there are certainly black Jews, the majority of African-Americans are descended from west African people with little contact to most abrahamic faiths save Islam, and later Christianity with European trade.

Part of the reason why all it takes to be Jewish is to have a Jewish mom is because rape was often used to destabilize enemy groups, but since the mother was Jewish the rape babies would be as well. Mizrahi Jews are still Israelites but Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jews descend from Jews who lived in the Roman Empire which explains the Italian admixture. They are more connected to Judah Maccabee and the Hasmonean dynasty then most of the Ancient Mizrahi communities would be because they stuck around.

Jewish men marrying non-Jewish women. But a lot of the maternal lines in Jews are Near-Eastern, and there are a lot of narrow founders. The K lineages in Ashkenazim might be levantine, they are certainly Neolithic so they came from the Near-East anyway.

Interestingly, Jews from Libya and Tunisia have this narrow founder effect, where like 30-40% of them descend from a woman carrying the mtdna x2e. This clade has its highest diversity in the Druze from Israel.
I've seen Mormons claiming this as evidence that Native American descend from Jews because the X haplotype is found in them in as well.
