Most of us use the "Great Man" view of history where we attribute big periods of history to important historical figures whilst he uses a different perspective where its infinity more boring, looking at history through economics, the transfer or ideas etc.

Take the most boring history lessons you endured in school and that is what you get.

How is that a bad thing? Shouldn't a kid be allowed to be exposed to different views then those he grew up with? Shouldn't they be allowed to be challenged, to reach their own conclusions and see the nuance in the world?

If someone can genuinely challenge an idea to the point they can make someone reconsider what they've been taught from birth, then quite frankly they should be allowed to speak as much as they want.
