What would be the best way to acquire accurate, replica uniforms for use in a reenactment?
Have any of you ever been in one? What time period?

Local gun shows have a lot of military memorabilia
WW2. 272 volksgrenadiers
Its really easy to find one in your area. And finding reproduction uniforms are very easy. There are at least half a dozen good quality reproduction vendors online who sell uniforms, boots and equipment. Putting together a good uniform and equipment with personal items and other tid bits should be under 500 dollars.

Poorfag Civil War reenactor here
Started out with unit loaner uniforms, saved up until I could buy some used gear for cheap. Currently have a decent mid-war Confederate shell jacket, Union blue pants (meant to be interchangable between impressions), and a rather inaccurate artillery kepi. I think I've spent roughly $185 or so on this current uniform ($35 on the kepi, $50 on the pants, and $75 on the jacket). Hoping to upgrade in the future.

By joining your cunts military and getting into some guard/tradition unit
This way you would also avoid being a pathetic fag

>join German Army
>get booted out immediately if you ask for an SS uniform
A more cringe group of "people" don't exist than Wehrmacht LARPers

>Wehrmacht
>wearing SS smocks and helmets
Also it really tends to be hit or miss with WW2 reenactors. Hooptyman is a great example of a example of a guy who really does it right
