My fucking ass. First the Poles under Beck side with the Germans and take a chunk of Czechoslovakia, seizing Teschen, then he supports (Fascist) Slovak independence. He buddies up with Hitler, gladly taking part in expansionism, then when Hitler says he wants Pomerania (traditional German territory with a large German populace) and a free rail corridor to Danzig he turns away. Then the Brits and French, seeing the opportunity, offer an alliance they essentially renege on. Beck was even surprised by it. Had Beck just signed the anti-comintern pact none of this would have happened.
