Is it possible to understand and respect one another, after both sides being at each others' throats, full of revenge and resentment? Is there a way for peace, or old blood feuds just won't go away?

This being said, the probability of warfare can be reduced to negligible proportions with highly developed economy, democratic institutions, and collective security arrangements.
